Here's the latest Wimbledon Draw for the 2021 edition.
What Happened at the 2020 Wimbledon?
The 2020 Wimbledon was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Novak Djokovic and Simona Halep won the 2019 edition of Wimbledon in the men's and women's singles draw. Djokovic defeated Roger Federer in what was probably one of the greatest Wimbledon matches of all times while Halep had an easy 6-2, 6-2 win over Serena Williams in their title-decider.
Djokovic and Angelique Kerber were the men's and women's singles winners at the 2018 Wimbledon.
The Serb, who had entered the tournament on the back of injury problems that had seen him struggle at a few previous Grand Slam competitions, went on to win the title as the men's 12th seed. He knocked out Rafael Nadal in a semi-final that went to 18 games in the final set before overcoming Kevin Anderson in the final.
Anderson had earlier defeated the defending champion Roger Federer after being two sets to love down, winning the final set 13-11 before creating a record by winning the final set of his semi-final against John Isner 26-24. With no fuel left in the tank, Anderson fell in straight sets to Djokovic in the final.
In the women's singles draw, 11th seeded Kerber was a straight-set winner over Serena Williams in the final to lift the trophy. Kerber had earlier sent Naomi Osaka, Daria Kasatkina and Jelena Ostapenko out in straight sets. Top seed Simona Halep faltered in the third round, while the second seeded Caroline Wozniacki was knocked out in the second.
Defending champions Garbine Muguruza did not have a great time at the competition either, as the third seeded Spaniard went down to Allison van Uytvanck in three sets after winning the opening set.
In the semi-finals, Kerber defeated Jelena Ostapenko in straight sets while Williams was an easy winner over Julia Goerges to enter the title-decider. Dominika Cibulkova, Daria Kasatkina, Kiki Bertens and Camila Girogi were the other quarter-finalists at last year's Wimbledon.
