FINALLY!!!

After five weeks of diarrhea, stool samples, x-rays, $600 in vet bills and endless chicken & rice preparation, we found a food that WORKS! Our 8 month old English Mastiff puppy, Jack, started having gastro problems after his 6 month booster shots, that got worse after giving him Nexgard for flea & tick prevention. Now, of course, Jack eats everything in sight, so when it started, the vet treated him with an antibiotic in case the rope from a toy that we had to help extract from his nether-region had caused an infection. After two rounds of antibiotics and a month of bland diet and probiotics, I was becoming frantic because the loose stool and/or diarrhea were not improving. After trying several other puppy foods, I found this one by reading the reviews and THANK YOU to all that wrote a review! IT WORKED WITHIN 24 HOURS!! And, Jack loves it! It's very pricey, so I plan to ease him into a mixture of this and his other puppy food, but I am so grateful to have found this and that his vet signed off on the prescription. My anxiety is lifting! We are only on Day 3, so I am cautious, but SO EXCITED for 3 days of perfect poop!

royal canin GI diet for puppies

have a siberian husky puppy that had loose stools with treats , dry & wet food from other manufacturers. so I had ordered Royal canin GI, low fat for adults which firmed up his stool . This had worked for my Jack Russell who had pancreatitis . I was delighted when a GI diet was available from Royal canin for puppies. I have been mixing the adult version 50% -50 % with the puppy version with no recurrence of diarrhea . I plan on weaning him off the adult version over the next 1-2 weeks. Will give you an update .

Puppy Food for those with GI issues!

Our 7 month old puppy has had a sensitive system for several months. He initially had an intestinal parasite and the veterinarian recommended this food during the time we were treating him. Afterwards, we slowly transitioned him to a regular puppy food, but his stools were never great. So we spoke with the veterinarian and she recommended we keep him on the Royal Canin Puppy food, for now. Every time he's been on it, his stools have been better than any other time! And he loves the food!!

Amazing results!

My pup was recently switch over to this food after A long battle with GI sensitivity. The vet said this would help his stomach to heal and be sensitive enough for him to eat. Let me tell you the wonders that it has created and only one week, even well just transitioning from old food new food. My puppy loves to taste he enjoys the food and doesn't miss the blue buffalo that he was on before.

Fix for GI imbalance

For 4.5 mos we have battled blow out diarrhea and pudding poop. After exhausting every test and over 4k in vet bills, our OE finally had formed stools and healthy looking turds!! I'm not sure why this horrifically expensive food agreed with him, (4 other veterinary diets failed), but it's here to stay and we will migrate him to adult food @ 14 mos. It takes 3- 4 mos to acclimate his sensitive system. So much for purebreds with health certs & genetic testing.

Works like a charm!

My 6 month old puppy hadn't had a solid BM in his life, we tried everything! He was on this for 4 days and was solid. It's amazing and I would definitely recommend it...

Fixed the mushy poop

I purchased this puppy food for my recent litter of Sheepadoodles. When they started solids, their stools were very soft. Then their mom got into some naughty foods and nursed the puppies and gave them even worse diarrhea. (Nine puppies with pudding poos was not my idea of a good time!!). At my vets recommendation, I purchased this food and started immediately. Their poops went from cow patties to firm tootsie rolls almost overnight! I love this food also because the puppies don't poop as much either. All the food is used as fuel for their tiny bodies. The only problem I have is it's SO very expensive and it's also only available via Veterinary prescription. I am a long time (30+ Years) Science Diet believer but seeing results from this Royal Canin food, I will strongly consider switching all my animals to try Royal Canin

Royal Canin Gastro Diet

Vet recommended diet for your pup that has a sensitivity to many foods with fillers.

The cure to our puppies stomach

Now, I still add a probiotic to our puppies food, but when I tell you our puppy was only able to have loose stools, I mean it. We could not even pick them up due to it being liquid. Finally, our vet wrote us a prescription to try this food and it has worked. Solid stools consistently and we are so happy our dog is more comfortable.

Game Changer!

My puppy loves this food and his diarrhea ended within a day of being on this!
